Eyebrow Tattoo Removal (Q-Switch & Surgical)

Eyebrow tattoo removal covers applications aimed at reducing or removing the appearance of previously applied, now unwanted eyebrow permanent make-up (microblading, tattoo/contour). The most commonly preferred method is the Q-switch laser; in some cases a surgical approach may be considered.

Because colour, depth, the pigment used and the skin structure vary from person to person, an eyebrow removal plan is always created individually after an examination.

Removal with the Q-switch laser

The Q-switch laser delivers short energy pulses that target the pigment. The aim is for the pigment to break down and be cleared by the body over time. Several sessions are usually required; intervals are set according to skin healing.

When is the surgical method considered?

In some cases where the laser is not suitable or insufficient, limited surgical excision/correction may be evaluated for small areas. This decision is made considering the condition of the area and the expectations.

How does the process work?

At the first examination, the colour and depth of the pigment are assessed, and the appropriate method and an estimated number of sessions are discussed. Some pigment colours can be more resistant to the laser; this is shared in advance.

Who is it suitable for?

After the procedure

Temporary redness, crusting or colour change may occur in the treated area. Sun protection and following aftercare advice are important for healing.

The result of eyebrow removal varies according to the type of pigment and the skin's response; complete removal in a single session may not always be possible. You can arrange a consultation for the most suitable method. This content is for information only.
